Civil/Structural Forensic Engineer

you need. We are looking for a full time Civil/Structural Engineer
in the Bedford, OH area but mostly remote that is interested in
performing structural and building envelope assessments to becoming

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site investigations/analyses of residential and
commercial construction to determine the origin and cause of
failures involving, but not limited to, various building envelopes,
structural framing systems/components, and storm water management
Perform damage assessments following vehicle and tree impacts as
well as fires.
Perform exterior and roof storm-damage assessments.
Conduct unbiased investigations for various types of clients.
Must be able to articulate findings to clients (both verbal and
Prepare written reports that detail findings and conclusions from

Responsible for continued development of client relations.
Ability to support conclusions by appropriate expert testimony in
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attendance of
educational workshops, reviewing professional publications,
establishing personal networks, and participating in professional
organizations and institutions.
Applicants must be an active registered Professional Engineer
(P.E.), Multiple active state P.E. licensures, especially in
surrounding states, are preferred.
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil/Structural
Must be well organized, able to balance multiple project workloads,
and turn reports around within a short period of time.
Must be willing to climb pitched roofs and crawl into tight spaces
(attics, crawlspaces, etc.).
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have superior customer service skills and ability to work well
Must have proficient use of Microsoft Office programs.
Experience with hands on engineering investigations is highly
