Job Description:
The primary focus of the Field Construction Laborer is to assist
all self-perform construction disciplines; including but not
limited to general organization of the site and overall
self-perform trade support. Job Duties: • Ability to read/interpret
blueprints and shop drawings • Ability to frame using wood or metal
studs, hanging and finishing drywall, painting, flooring, build and
installing casework • Ability to finish concrete as needed •
General jobsite clean-up as needed • Convey important site
information to Site Superintendent • Communicate on a regular basis
with Site Superintendent • Follow all company and or OSHA safety
policies and procedures • Participate in Safety meetings and
training as required • Participate in Good Catch Program and Near
Miss Program • Ability to travel and work overtime and nights as
necessary Skills, Knowledge, Qualification and Experience: •
Proficient in carpentry techniques and tools • Knowledge of metal
stud framing and drywall installation • Experience with roofing
materials and installation methods • Familiarity with various types
of flooring installation techniques • Understanding of frame
carpentry principles and practices • High sense of urgency and set
priorities • Must be a team player with a positive, collaborative

employee regularly works in an onsite construction setting. The
noise in the work environment is usually moderate on a jobsite

usually working at construction sites where the employee is exposed
to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or
airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of
electrical shock. The noise in the work environment is usually
moderate to loud. The employee is required to work in compliance
with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
