Job Description:

We are a multi doctor veterinary hospital that is looking to hire 2 veterinary receptionists. Customer service and client communication skills are absolutely necessary. A receptionist focuses on client service and communication. He or she is the first and last contact with the hospital and key to creating first and lasting impressions. The receptionist must have exceptional client service and communication skills, computer literacy, handle payment and financial issues, ability to multi-task, friendly attitude, and confidence to deal with stressful situations. Receptionists support veterinarians, technicians, veterinary assistants, groomers and kennel staff in daily patient and client care. They communicate with clients in person and by phone and e-mail. Responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, admitting, and discharging patients, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists must have a pleasant demeanor and work well with others, especially in stressful situations. Prior clerical, customer service, and computer experience preferred. Veterinary or other medical experience strongly preferred. Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $13 - $16 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
