Job Description Job Description A/R Specialist (Contract-to-Hire | Hybrid) Location: Near Pittsburgh (PITTS), PA Work Schedule: Hybrid Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate: Up to $20/hour (based on experience) A well-established organization near Pittsburgh (PITTS), PA is seeking an experienced and motivated A/R Specialist for a hybrid, contract-to-hire opportunity. As a third-party recruiter, LHH is partnering directly with the hiring team to identify candidates who are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and ready to grow within accounts receivable and collections . This role offers hands-on exposure to full-cycle accounts receivable with strong potential for long-term employment. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable and follow up on past-due balances via phone and email Apply and post payments accurately, including ACH, checks, and credit card transactions Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash Negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining positive customer relationships Maintain accurate customer account records and collection notes within ERP systems Prepare and review aging reports to prioritize collection efforts Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting Qualifications Required: Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, A/R, or Collections Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle sensitive financial conversations professionally Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) Experience managing multiple accounts or high-volume A/R portfolios Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Why This Opportunity Competitive pay up to $20/hour Hybrid work schedule Contract-to-hire with long-term potential Opportunity to grow with a reputable organization Support from a dedicated recruiter throughout the hiring process How to Apply Apply with your resume for immediate consideration.
