Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow-up on submitted claims with health plans and their members
to resolve issues
Interact with members and insurance companies to resolve claims and
discrepancies
Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings
Required Qualifications:
Experience and understanding of the denial and appeals process
Experience working with Medicaid and private insurance
requirements
Proficiency with software applications and computer systems
Clear seven-year background check and criminal history
High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of
related experience
