We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Travel RN for a 13-week on-site assignment at a renowned hospital campus in Cleveland, Ohio (44195). This Special Care Transplant Unit delivers high-acuity care. Job Details - Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Cuyahoga County) - Role: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry / Cardiac Telemetry Nurse - Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Start Date: March 30, 2026 - End Date: June 29, 2026 - Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Day: 7:00am – 7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm – 7:30am) - Setting: Special Care Transplant Unit (Med/Surg Telemetry) - On-Site: This is an on-site travel nurse position - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,250 - $2,370 per week Minimum Qualifications / Job Requirements - Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required (Med/Surg Tele RN, telemetry nurse, cardiac telemetry preferred) - Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission - Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross (must be active) - Current NIHSS certification (must be active) - One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty required - Must be able to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered) - Must be able to work at least every other holiday during the assignment Key Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry and transplant patients, following established nursing protocols - Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms; escalate changes in patient condition per policy - Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately as licensed - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, PT/OT, social work) to develop and implement patient-centered care plans - Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely in the electronic medical record - Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and post-transplant care when applicable - Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives This travel nursing opportunity is ideal for experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RNs and travel RNs seeking Ohio travel nursing jobs, Cleveland nursing jobs, or short-term contracts in a specialty transplant unit.
